Re: 32-20--32-40
I have a .32-40 rifle built on a Martini action and do my own reloading in both black and smokeless. Haven't done any for some time though.

Re: 32-20--32-40
Hi there. I just got my first 32-40. I ordered dies, brass, and bullets from Midway USA. I found an old 1967 Lyman reloading manual, and will use the data from that as a guide for my Win 94. I have not loaded/shot the rifle yet, so I can't really say how successful i will be, but later this week, I will be doing some shooting/reloading..

As i don`t have a 32-40 i`m not sure if the die in it is the right one, i assume it is. I also don`t know if ya need more than one die.

Re: 32-20--32-40
I'm willing to take a shot at it! Looks interesting, and since I do have dies/brass on the way it will be interesting to see if this tool works. I do cast some of my own bullets, so it will be fun to find out what diameter this mould comes out with. Anyway, I'll take it. If it works I will post pics etc....despite the fact that I just found out my cheapo digital camera is finished. My wife's 2 are OK though, and will get pics when she comes home.(Since I don't know how her cameras work!!!!) I can never figure out where the film goes!! Do they still make film? Cash on the way to you sir.

Re: 32-20--32-40
I have a Ruger #1 heavy barrel target rifle chambered in .32-40.
I breech seat a 170gr. NEI PB bullet in it with 14gr. 4227 for just over 1400 fps and 1/2" groups at 100yd.
The first time I fired that load I thought only the primer fires. I opened the breech to check the bore for a stuck bullet. The bore was clear so I checked the spotting scope and sure enough a hole appeared right in the center of the bulls eye at the 100 yd target.
It`s like shooting a 12 lb. rifle chambered in .22 short.
No need to re size these cases, just clean and re prime them.
I use soft bullets and SPG lube and size the bullets to .323.
My barrel is a Douglas 8MM Schutzen Match grade 30".
