POLITICS - Senate Gun Control

Post by Hobie »

From the NRA is this report on Edward Kennedy submitting yet another bill.

These guys must have a terminal case of dumb-butt because they KNOW the issue loses elections for them, they KNOW their candidates are doing the election year dance around the subject to avoid ticking off the gun-owning Dems (and both Hillary and Obama are picking out their duck hunting outfits) and yet they persist. Aside from the inanity of the law itself, who would want to elect folks who are so darn stupid?

Next thing you know they'll be accusing John McCain of sleeping with a lobbyist...
Sincerely,

Hobie

:( :( My good friend from Chicago , just can't believe what happens in the elections. He reported that in both the 00 and 04 elections, most of the members of the 2 seperate shooting clubs he belongs to supported the democrat nominee. :?
Seems some folks just can't look at what is really happening, only punch the button for what they think is going to happen maybe?
Ol drownem young , probably get 1000"s of dollars in campaign donations just because he sponsored a bill he knows full well either won't get passed or will get vetoed.

My thought exactly. At least Bobby hadn't murdered anyone (yet) and got away with it.

it amazes me that the people actually elect kennedy and those like him.

he, feinstein, boxer, schummer, pelosi to name a few are a national disgrace.

My friend in Glendale, AZ married a gal from Acushnet, MA. At the time he was working as a boilermaker and making much money. He made numerous trips to MA to court her. Eventually bringing her back to AZ with him.
On one occasion I asked him what the people in MA though about Kennedy.
Not one person he spoke with admitted voting for him. Many were adamant they voted against him.
What it comes down to is that the democrats have gerrymandered the districts so that Kennedy cannot loose. If every body in his district didn't vote for him, he'd still win. That's how corrupt the system is.

As for the shooting of the Kennedys, you guys are not looking a the big picture. IF John F. and Bobby were not murdered, the gun control lobby would never have gotten off the ground. We would have never had the GCA 68 and the laws that followed.
They shot and killed TOO many Kennedys.

JFK was not a bad guy....Prolly more conservative than either Bush. Take a think back about the Cuban/USSR missle dustup and blockade........Any of the current crop of Commie/Libs would have helped the bastids with missle placement and sent over some beer.....
