[Comal Forge]

An elderly couple lived way back in the hills of Tennessee. A dirt path went by the front of the house that was barely wide enough for a horse. One day, both were sitting on the porch when a rider came over the hill on a motorcycle, howling down the road. The old man jumped up, ran into the house and came out with his caplock rifle. He aimed and fired, whereupon the man jumped off the bike and went running back the way he'd come. The motorcycle continued down the path under power and was soon gone from sight.

The old woman said, "Did ye git it?"

Her husband replied, "No, but ah made it turn loose of that pore feller."
