Been getting news today that the Wifes' Grandfather has taken a turn for the worse. Looks like it might be the onset of kidney failure along with a heart that is giving out.
The Grandparents in law, I have always liked, as they were the first to welcome me when the wife and I started dating decades ago. Rest of the family wasn't too thrilled, but couldn't go against the matriarch and patriarch!
He has always been a pretty good fellow. Farmed for many a year. Always enjoyed going to see them.
Grandpa always said the wouldn't make Christmas this year. He might just be right, unfortunately.
A few prayers for him, to ease his passing ,if that is what the Good Lord has in store for him.

Done. Sometimes it's good the 'holidays' happen this time of year, for the winter is so hard on the elderly, at least it is balanced by the togetherness and faith shared by family, so they can give one another strength to deal with such things.
