Took the above out today and it is mostly all good news. The 1887 even with a pitted barrel patterned pretty well and smoked all clays when I did my part. The Remington just got back for warranty work due to jamming and feed 2.5 boxes without a hitch. The 1886 digested my reloads well but I need to work more with that dang tang peep sight. Only sour note was my new to me 99 is shooting way high even with the rear sight as low as it will go. I had read that a center shoot at 12.5 yards will be real close at 150yds. Thing was shooting 4 inches high at 12 yds and 18 inches high at 100 yds. Other than putting a taller front sight on I am not sure what to do.
Pattern out of the 1887 follows. I am guessing she is a full choke. That seems to be the most common from what I have seen. The Remington with improved cylinder included as a reference.
