Design your own bullet?
Hey guys, I've heard of a website that allows you to design your own bullet but I can't find it. Does anyone know where its at? I'd be much obliged.

Thanks Jeff and Leverluvr. I'm trying to make a 500-550 grain round nose for my 11mm Mauser. Mic has given me some advice, I just need a little software and maybe design help. I don't see 11mm listed (no big surprise), but I'm sure they will have something close that can work.
Thanks again for the prompt response!

Not only can you design your own moulds, but NEI ( www.neihandtools.com ) will make you a cherry and cut the mould for you.------------Sixgun

Slug your barrel and go .002" over on the Mountainmolds 44 page.
If you do a chamber cast or upset-slug of the chamber, you can specify the front band to be long enough to almost engrave. Send Dan the chamber cast and he'll tweak the program to fit better if your program is not perfect.
He make nice molds.

Hey guys, just got back in town again. I was in Ukiah for the first job interview and an overnight camping trip in the mountains above Clear Lake.
Anyhow, the barrel slugs out at .443. I found some bullets at Buffalo Arms that are very similar to what I want, but the lead is a bit soft for smokeless. Mic is trying to find out who makes the mold so we can get one and cast our own.
Sure appreciate the help. Hopefully, I will have bigger bullets by March 16th!
