Now this what Swords are for

1966

Yep I was involved in a Sword arch once for one of the guys I instructed with. But since his new bride was in the Army we had to for go the tradition of the new bride getting a swat on the backside with the flat of the last mans sword. This is reserved for brides that are new to military life.

I dunno - 42 years can put a lot of mileage on a man. I'll be turning 44 in a few months - and I feel the mileage!!!

I must confess - Bordentown Military Institute 1966 Sword and Sabre Ball. And - the Queen. How time changes us but then you fellas are young. Wow 44 what a grand time - enjoy it. But then 60 is pretty good to. I'll be checkin' these young guys on 3/16.

You know what they say its not the years its the mileage and from what You have said in the past you (no fault of your own) have packed on the miles.

My dad was 7 in '66. I'm not even in the same ballpark as you "experienced" fellers.

That's a nice photo Old Savage, I like to see stuff that's been kept for a long time.

I've met "Mrs. Old Savage", and she is still a very pretty gal! And their daughters are very pretty too! Old Savage is a very lucky guy.

1984?!? 1988? Heck, I think the jeans I'm wearing are older than that! My wife made me pitch (donate to Amvets - don't worry) some clothes this weekend, and I know for sure one of the jackets was from 1980...

My first thought was " I've got socks older than that!"

YK you've got me by two years, and man if everything hurts this bad at 40 I can't imagine what 60's gonna be like!
