Can anyone give me any info on this gun? When made, how many, and about how much do they go for? It seems like a Guide Gun to me, but with an octogon barrel. Pretty sweet levergun, in my opinion....
Thanks,
Rob

I have the LTD III. 18" barrel, straight stock and no checkering. I bought it on Auction Arms NIB for Christmas about a year and a half ago for $580.00. Since then it has become one of my all time favorite rifles. Deadly accurate, light and powerful. Shoots everything from 350 JSPs to 400+ Lead Cast WFNs. Can't say enough about what a great rifle it is.

The first trip to the range and this is what I got!

If you happen upon one I doubt you will be dissapointed!

Thank you for the reply. The one I saw is a LTDIII. I'm very tempted, but there are some disadvantages....Such as, already bought a Super Blackhawk and a flatgate Single Six this month. Plus, I'd have to get rid of a long gun in the safe to make room..... And the asking price is a bit above what you paid. I could get a new stainless Guide Gun for what they're asking.
Still thinking about it. I know I won't regret it if I bring it home.

I just got one new in the box, has a 24" barrel, half octagon half round. I have look around the internet and this forum and can't find any clue as to the manufacture date.
How do they stack up with the newer versions?

Thanks
