Circa 1982 if I remember correctly. The wood matches better in real life. The gun is so nice I hate to mess with the stock finish. It looks like it was hardly ever fired. That will change.

I've got one of those circa 1974. I've been mightly tempted to send it off to Marlin to "cowboyize" it. Maybe even make it a .38-55.

It was my first rifle. Took my first deer with it when I was 14.
