OT Three new acquisitions.

Over the last few weeks I have bought and sold a few guns trying to only have guns that I will use regularly.

So my Uberti 73 .22, my Chas Smith 12ga Hammergun (black powder) and my 3 shot B/A .410 had to go and were replaced with the Browning ATD, a Baikal 16ga Hammergun and a Remington 870 express 28ga.

I like the looks of that hammergun. What is the most popular gauge over there? Are the 16 and 28 gauges more popular than the 12 and 20?

The 12GA is still the most popular by far, I just like buckin' the trend! :wink:
The Russian hammergun only cost me £89 about $175 and has not had a lot of use!

I contacted the guy handling your Uberti 22, but after his first response, he never e-mailed me back again. :( Oh well - it wasn't meant to be!

Looks like a great set of guns game keeper! :D

The guy I sold the Uberti to said someone from the States sent an email about it but he is a small gun shop and the paperwork involved does not make it worth his while to export. :(

It was a project gun anyway, who ever had it before really abused it. I did not have the time in the end to fix it up. Shame because it was pretty near an original in specification, unlike the newer ones.

Yup, Aluminum body with a two and a quarter litre engine. It's not mine it's just rotting away in a barn next to my bungalow. :cry:
