HAWK BULLETS

It's hard to ignore their testimonials from some pretty credible gun writers. However, most of the comments are about performance with higher velocity cartridges. Does anyone have experience with Hawk bullets in their 30-30 or 35 Remington?

They work much better at low speeds than at the higher velocities.

Their 405 bullet flat hammers deer. .025 Jacket btw.

Seen a bunch of 179gr 30-30 used on a variety of stuff. I'd call Mike at (503) 556-3006 and ask him about them. He loads them and has shot a bunch of stuff with them. He will give an unbiased opinion.

Anyone with experience with the Hawk bullets in 348Win and 33Win? Experience on game that is.
