Rob and I had arranged a lamping session for fox last night and the conditions could not of been worse. There was no wind ,a moon and a good freeze
We visited 4 places and saw three but only got 1. The new call worked well but I do need to practice as soon as I am in the house alone
It took quite a while for the vixen to appear, we think she had come a good way. She could see us it was that light but the call kept holding her nice untill Rob could get one off on her at something like 80yds.
Good fun and it was nice to experiance some cold weather for once. It must of been -5ish which to some of you that would mean wearing speedo's
I was out first light Sat morning with my 30/30. I saw one and winded another
Here is young Tom.
