I know you guys like pictures.
Ruger Single Six, SS , 6 1/2" fixed sight convertible in one of my holsters.
This pic is off the web but the same gun.
She shoots real nice. Magnums are the most accurate as I expected. 40 gr. Winchester mag. ammo shoots the best groups so far.
Just another holster Pic.

Chuck,
Your holster looks really well made. Lined or unlined? How about a picture of the other side of the holster.

BC in TN , Here is that shot you asked for pard.
There is no dye on this one, I oiled it with EVOO ( extra Virgin Olive Oil) and hung it in the sun for 3 days to get the sun tan.
It is unlined like almost all old west holsters were made.
Here is a pic of a couple more and a belt hanging now.
The Single Six holster is from my own pattern and I will be glad to share that pattern with anyone who wants. It can easily be shortened if need be. PM me if interested.
One word of warning, leather working is as addictive as leverguns ,loading or bullet casting. Don`t say I didn`t warn you!!!

Awesome work. It's one thing to make something yourself that 'works', but isn't really as good as the factory-made 'real' thing; I do that alot, and there is pride in having done it myself. It's entirely another thing to do what you have done - make something that is at least as good as anything you could get at any price, and probably better than most 'factory' ones. Pretty cool...!
