OT I'm still kickin'

Post by TedH »

I've been pretty scarce around here most of this year dealing with this divorce mess and trying to be everything I can be for my little girl. Good news is that it's about done. I've found a wonderful new lady that is much better to me than I probably deserve, and frankly way out of my league in my opinion! She had never fired a gun, so I went and got her a Ruger 22-45 and finally headed to the range last weekend. She took to it like a fish to water. She was upset when we ran out of ammo, having burned up over 200 rounds!

Long story short, life looks like it's going to be very good once again.

Glad to hear things are turning around for you. Know what you mean about about having a girl that's too good for you. Ain't it wonderful?

From personal experience; the second time around is soooo much better. Good for you, as kimwcook said divorce can suck the life out of you. Go slow and enjoy life with your new lady friend.

Glad you're doing better. Its a big and not so fun club to be a part of. At least the first months anyways. Shooting, bonfires and camping do wonders for getting back into the swing of things. Todd

Ted - Glad your new sweetheart likes the shooting thing too. Now, if she goes for the little dab of Hoppe's # 9 you put behind your ears for aftershave, you just might have a keeper.

Glad you're doing better. - DixieBoy
