Hello, We are takeing a day trip up to Ellicottville and are there any Gunshops or sporting goods worth seeing? will be taking 86 past Jamestown. Thanks,Jim.

Pickings are very slim around Ellicottville. There's a couple places in Salamanca, and a place north of E-vill in Springville but it's not worth the drive. Yet another place north of Colden, which is north of Springville.

If you go to Google Maps and search on "guns and gunsmiths" for Ellicottville you'll get what's there and around.

NOTE WELL: OBEY THE SPEED LIMITS on US219 from Salamanca to Buffalo, and locally in E-ville and Ashford Hollow, north of E-ville. HEAVILY patrolled by local LE and NYSP.
