My R&D cylinder arrived today for my Ruger OA. Suitable for 45LC "cowboy loads", this cylinder allows me to shoot .45LC out of my Horse Pistol. Here is the question: The timing seems off for three of the chambers. For chambers 1, 2, 3, the cylinder rotates and locks up just fine. For the rest, the cylinder does not rotate and the hammer cannot be cocked. After reading the instructions, it says, some fitting may be required. Great!!!!!! just what I didn't want to do. So I am thinking that i need to hone the holes in the back of the cylinder where the pawl engages? Anyone want to lend a guess what I need to do? I happened to get the last cylinder in stock at Midway in the fluted version.
