Marlin 45-70
My new to me 1895GS, used but in really great shape.Any of you guys ever used Lil"Gun in a 45-70.I have a Lee 450gr fn and want a load around 1200 for play.I have LilGun, Unique and RL 15 on hand thanks Doug.

Congrats, looks like a nice guide gun.
I have only used H322 & IMR4198 so far for my Guide Gun. I have not noticed LilGun mentioned for the 45/70 in any reloading books that I have.

Dont forget Trail Boss ! I have had some great results using about 14gr. TB behind a 300-350 gr. cast bullet and recoil is about like a .22 Mag.
