Elk saugage won my wife over!

Well, a taste of good Elk Sausage given to me by a friend won my wife over on hunting! Last year was the Elk chili from a different friend and this year put it over the top. I had to explain to her that an elk was a "big deer". My daughter loved it as well, went and watched "Bambi" then wanted to know if she could go hunting with me! At 6 she has learned the difference between cartoons and the real world (unlike a lot of adults in Kalifornia). I am blessed!!!

I have only eaten Elk a few times but It is the best wild game I ever ate,cept maybe My Sisters Grouse Pie. :wink: .Jim.
