True but what kind of story would they have if they interviewed someone with a clue? There's one thing I've noticed about news media - they ALWAYS interview the morons.

FWIW - 1/4 of Britons don't believe Winston Churchill was a real person.

There was one guy who's sentiment I agree with. An older gent, if you watched it you might remember him. I bet he knows where Iraq is too. :lol:

Remember - these people vote (almost exclusively for Democrats too!).

I only hope they had hours of footage with tons of correct answers, and simply picked out the few idiots.

I dunno about you but I saw quite a cross section of people of different ethnicities & from different areas of the US. Some sounded pretty southern to me. I dont think any one area of our country holds a monopoly on ignorance.
I think its pretty widespread. Most people are happy to let the next guy figure things out. Over time this is what we have. A huge chunk of people too ignorant to even have an opinion.

You could turn out an identical segment in any country. Ask some UK chavs those questions and see what answers you get (assuming you don't catch a bottle upside the head).
