OT - Anyone remember "Gun Facts" magazine?

Started by Ken Warner, the magazine ran for 14 issues from 1968 to 1970. Lack of advertising revenue killed it; the staff were very unforgiving in their product reviews. Poor quality and shoddy workmanship did not go unoticed. I believe Ruger was the only major manufacturer that advertised regularly in the magazine. It also had a lot of interesting technical and historical articles. It was a cut or two above the gun rags of the time, and certainly superior to the stuff being published now. If anyone is interested, I'll dig out my stack of them (I have the entire run) and see exactly what's in them.

I am not familiar with it but I sure understand why the gun makers would not support it. Few Companies will support any periodical which gives completely accurate reviews. That is unfortunate, I can hardly read some gun magazines due to the completely biased "reviews" which are no more than advertising.

I have a couple of issues. Very nicely done. I had wondered whatever happened to the publication. Thank you for the update.
