ot- Sixgun, Ruger OM Super Blackhawk by Bowen Classic Arms

Post by 2ndovc »

I've posted a photo of my Marlin 94P w/ it's favorite companion several times and have had a few people ask more about it and I promised to try to get some better pictures of it.

Started out as a four didgit s# Old Model w a 7 1/2" barrel , 44 Mag, and almost no finish. Super good shooter but to me it always felt unbalanced.

Finally decided to send it off to Hamilton Bowen and after a couple phone calls we had a plan. Re-work the action, shorten the barrel, new sights and case colors by Doug Turnbull. Can't say enough about what a cool guy Mr. Bowen is!

The photos just don't do it justice.

My all time favorite sixgun!! All that's left is a proper holster!

I'm a sucker for stag grips. Just haven't gotten to it yet.

That is quite a beauty there. Amazing work. I like it as is...blue, case and walnut go nicely.
