240 rounds shot through my 30-30 trapper.
Well, I reached 240 rounds through my Win. 94 Trapper and it's only about 15 years old,Lol. It set around for a long time before anyone shot it and my Grandson got his first deer with it a couple years ago.
With 240 rounds down the barrel how long will it be before I wear it out and need a new barrel? Mike

You will never wear it out.I have 600+ through mine and it gets more accurate as it goes. I have 1450+ though a 30-06, a 270 and a 6mm Rem and they are fine with more powder and restriction. Still as accurate as ever.

Well, my Win 94 30-30 Trapper has 971 rounds through it. Still going strong as of 10-98. Yeah, that was last time I got to shoot it. Just before I left AZ.
I wonder how many rounds it would have through it had I not left?

You should see one of my M1 Garands . The sharp edges of the riflings are no longer sharp . This is with a 1948 barrel .
The receiver is WWII , during which the origional barrel was worn out ? Then , most likely saw a lot of use in Korea , after the new barrel was installed .
If the eyes are up to the job , it will still do @" at 100 yards with Lake City 69 surplus ammo .
The action is the smoothest of all my Garands .
