First deer of the season!!! Pics!!

I have spent more time in the stand than ever this year but just shot my first deer of the season this past Wednesday. I stupidly passed up a couple of nice deer opening weekend and haven't seen much but young stuff since then. It was a nice size doe, although it looks kinda small in the pic where it's laying on the ground. It doesn't have big horns, but it made meat and I had a great time harvesting it, so it's a success in my book. It was shot with a Remington 700 in .270 with Wal Mart Federal 150 grain bullets. Through and through with not that much expansion judging from the exit wound, but it hit the lungs and the deer didn't run more than 25 yards.
