Guess I should post an official introduction
I have been reading a lot and posting here and there, figured someone might be wondering who I am.
I am originally from outside of Chicago, and relocated my family to the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas.
I have been shooting for 25 years, since I got a 10/22 for my 10th birthday.
I can't think of a firearm I don't like, but my biggest sweet spot is for lever rifles and single action hoglegs.
Right now I have two leverguns, my 336 that I have had worked over and a Henry H001.
The 336 is a 75 model .30-30 barrel after shooting it for years I decided I wanted to change it up. I had the magazine cut down, XS Scout rail, and Swift scope. I still haven't decided what rear sight to use and I would like to get a quick detach scope mount for it.
I just bought the Henry recently it was a little beat up and the paint was flaking off the receiver.
Stripped it refinished the wood and the receiver was stripped and after scuffing it, I felt it looked too nice to repaint.
Anyhow this sight has become one of my favorites and I really enjoy all the great info.

Those look great, and welcome! Really like how that Henry reciever came out.

Welcome! It's always good to have another "Ozark-American" on board.

Looking at your 'scout' rifle setup, you might like this post, if you've not seen it...

Re: Guess I should post an official introduction
I read that whole post AJMD, my next rifle is going to be a .357 levergun.
I live out of town and I really think a .357 Carbine is a good over the door gun, right now a 12 ga sits in that role.
My Birthday is in March and I am hoping to treat myself to a rossi 92.
