I have sinned OT
A guy I loaned some money to was unable to pay me back,so he gave me the quintessential EBR,in payment. FN FAL ,7.62x51,barrel shortened to 18 inches and a real good flash hider, now for the SIN, I am keeping it. Doug

The FAL is a fine rifle canonsix. I've got several and they are pretty much unbreakable. You can find out anything you ever wanted to know about them at http://www.falfiles.com there's some very knowledgeable FAL builders there.

Nice! The FAL was the first battle rifle I fell for.
How is the receiver marked? I can see it's got Brit furniture but if it's a Century built weapon it may have a metric receiver instead of an inch receiver. No biggie other than magazine compatibility.

Nothing so needs reforming as other people's habits.

After searching I find it is a Aussie, manufactured in '68, I only hope it served with the RAR in their incursions in sunny SEAsia. Doug
