No way! They are extremely rare, and they do bring huge prices, but although that's a good clean, unmolested Burgess, I think it's at least 20-25% high, and maybe more.

Yep, agree with Marlinman. It would have to have much more condition than that one to bring 8 g's. I have seen clean examples better than that one in the 4-5 range. Although the asking prices are high, they are not eagerly sought after. Not many were made, so for that small percentage of guys desiring a Colt levergun, well, you gotta ante up.--------Sixgun
