I have no idea who has the best price on those. They ARE darn attractive, aren't they?
Sincerely,

Hobie

gun show

Post by dgr416 »

The last gun show I attended in Georgia was a hudge disapointment. They had 10 times more nongun stuff than guns. They had blankets, flags ,toy cars and everything except lots of guns and ammo. One of the guys selling guns said the area had become so crime ridden and the areas gun buyers had moved away from the area.It use to be the best gun show now its a junk sale.I went to some in Nevada at the old Hilton that were awesome now I heard they are history. The worse one I went to in Nevada had a bunch of burned and rusty guns at the civic center .I picked up some good buys at the hilton show a big bore 375 winchester 94 for $375 with two boxes of ammo.Good buys at gun shows are getting fewer and fewer these days but maybe with this downturn in the ecomany you might find some.

here is one on Gunbroker
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... m=90836900

I been to this guy's shop and there are very few deals available. He has a good inventory to handle and look at and always been freindly - just what I consider good deals on new/used are harder to come by.

His items on gunbroker always seem to have a higher reserve.
They do look neat.[/url]

I went to the one in Palmetto, Fla as well. I ended up getting a pair of custom made ear plugs that I've wanted for a whole. Other than that it was pretty much a bust.

I did find out that you CAN make a silk purse out of a sow's ear though. One guy had an SKS with so many add on's on it he could have bought a really nice something else for what he spent on it.

On local shop had about 1/5th of the tables bought up. About 6 and a half isles plus the end caps by the same outfit.
