would be a fine time to look at the Cape Spencer web cam to see a day in the life of Cross Sound and Lisianski Inlet.

The inlet you can look down into is where Pelican is located. I fished out of there and raised my family in a house we still own but don't live in year 'round.

Click on this link:

Then click on the cape spencer button, then click on the Southeast Loop button, then click on the play button. This will cycle a bunch of pictures and you can see the day progress, and guage the wind on the water, and get a look at my old stomping grounds.

If you think that's fun, try the Pedersen Hill East Loop. That looks directly at the Juneau airport. Sometimes you can catch flight activity. The west loop looks out over Auke Bay towards the Chilcat Mountain range. It's spectacularly beautiful today.

Just thought I'd share 'cause I'm homesick for the Great Land sometimes...
