Happy Happy Joy Joy !!!

Today was a happy happy joy joy day.

I was specifically looking for a Stainless Super Blackhawk with a 4 5/8" barrel locally. So, I put out an ad on several forums.

A fellow answers my ad a couple of days ago and tells me he has one and that he's going to be selling some other firearms
later on as well. Anyway, one of those was a Marlin Cowboy Limited 45Colt with the 24" oct. barrel and checkered wood.

He was asking $450 each, but told me if I could come get both of them today he'd take $700 total.

Anyway, with a bit of sweet talking to the wife, and some fancy driving, this is what I brought home.

They've already been torn down, completely cleaned, lubed and reassembled.

It's amazing what you can get done with proper motivation and the wife taking care of the kids. :lol:

Thanks gentlemen.

I am pretty happy with them.

And JMiller, I'm hoping it shoots as good as yours did.

I took that dang plastic magazine limiter out of the mag tube and cut 4 coils off the spring.

Now it holds 13 rounds like my Win94 Legacy instead of 10. I doubt I'll ever need that much, but it's nice to know I can if I ever do.

I'm glad you mentioned the support of your wife in matters like this. I too have a very understanding wife, it makes all the difference in the joy you feel when they smile with you, rather than fuss with you. Good on you both for this nice buy.
