OT 2 more Canadian soldiers lost today

Post by iceman »

We lost two more brave Canadians today in Afganistan today. Brings total to 150 so far. I say circle the country and not let anyone out. Let them fight amongst themselves if they want, seems like the only thing they want to do. As usual an IED explosion caught these men on foot patrol

We have lost a number of Aussie's there in the last couple of weeks, I don't know why we are all there, waste of time nobody has ever done any good there just ask the British, I would pull all the troops out and if they commit any terrorist acts any where in the world, I would send in a multi national force of a hundred F-18 Super Hornets and give them the full bomb load of all of them, and then let them know this is what you get ever time you step out of line, bet they would get sick of it before we do, worked with Gadaffai or ever how he spells his name.

That brings the total to 150 Canadian soldiers killed in Afghanistan. That may not sound like a large number to our American brothers, but keep in mind, our Canadian population is only 1/10 that of the USA's. We may not have the numbers, but our men and women do their job none the less. They have my highest respect.

"One" sounds like a large number to me.

I'm not one to quit and run away (and after all, these WERE the scumbags who attacked us) but even I'm getting pretty sick and tired of this mess. I've got about one good year left in my unconditional support before I pull the handles and eject if I'm not seeing a BIG improvement (for which I am NOT holding my breath...). :x

Best,
Oly

The best die young and the politicians grow fat. Our opposition politicians act in a treasonous fashion supporting the animals who kill our soldiers!

Ditto that. And I'm grateful to both our Canadian and Aussie brothers for being their with us. My nephew's NG unit is spooling up to go there I think he said in January, they've already been to Iraq once. I hope they're all home before then but I'm not holding my breath.

RIP brave ones.
