I'd like to put in a prayer request for a close family friend of mine who as he puts it, in the space of 6 days went from an old man with back pain to an old man with stage 4 cancer. From his email, it appears terminal.

sorry to hear this. There are a lot of good people pulling for you here. Cancer can be unforgiving yet sometime merciful. If nothing can be done this may sound cold, I hope it will end quickly. I have lost friends and family to this awful disease. It is very hard to see someone fail slowly but bravely. My thought and prayers.
