Book Report, some interesting reading

Post by BigSky56 »

Just finished reading Crusoe of Lonesome Lake by Leland Stowe: story about american Ralph Edwards homesteading east of Bella Coola BC, Canada from 1912 till the 60's Ralph stopped counting the grizzlies after #50 that he killed with a win 94 30-30 and a rem model 8 in 35 rem. He killed several wolves that attacked him so did his wife taking grizzlies and wolves with her 30-30, very good reading about frontier life and building your own equipment, farming, ranching and raising a family. danny

Thanks for the heads up, sounds like my kind of reading. May I ask who the publisher is?
I will have to order it from my local bookstore, never easy to find anything like that over here.

Game Keeper,

I don't know who the publisher is, but Amazon.com has them:
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss? ... &x=17&y=16

We've order things that Amazon had to get from AU so it shouldn't be that hard to get them.
