OT: Kathe Update... 4-15

Post by Buck Elliott »

Today, April 15th, is Kat's birthday...

My dear litttle fiancee is still in a battle for her very life. As if the pancreatic cancer diagnosis and treatment weren't enough, she has now contracted MRSA, as so many long-term hospital patients do; especially those whose immune systems have been seriously weakened or compromised.

The ravaging effects of daily chemo treatments continue, as she and her medical team also fight the MRSA infection. Seems like she just can't catch a good break, lately. The GOOD part of it all is that she is still alive and fighting, in spite of almost insurmountable odds.

My thanks to any and all who have offered prayers and thoughts for her well-being. I can't begin to thank you enough. Any additional prayers in her behalf would be greatly appreciated.

MRSA - Colloidal Silver will kill MRSA. The best type is MesoSilver.
http://www.purestcolloids.com/mesosilve ... 5QodrVJ_Mw

"Science Digest cites colloidal silver as "...a wonder of modern medicine," and further states "Antibiotics kill perhaps a half dozen different disease organisms, but silver kills hundreds. Resistant strains fail to develop. Moreover, silver is virtually non-toxic. Colloidal silver, used as an anti-microbial agent, will not create super bugs as antibiotics do."

Alfred Searle, founder of the giant Searle Pharmaceuticals (now Monsanto) stated, "Applying colloidal silver to human subjects has been done in a large number of cases with astonishingly successful results. For internal administration ... it has the advantage being rapidly fatal to pathogens without toxic action on its host. It is quite stable." Further information indicates that Colloidal Silver does not cause harmful interactions with other medications or topical treatments.

In laboratory tests with colloidal silver, bacteria, viruses, and fungal organisms are killed within minutes of contact. Larry C. Ford, M.D. of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, UCLA School of Medicine, Centre For The Health Sciences reported in November 1, 1988, " I tested them (the silver solutions) using standard anti-microbial tests for disinfectants. The silver solutions were anti-bacterial for concentrations of 105 organisms per ml of Streptococcus Pyogenes, Staphylococcus Aureus",

You must not be as onery as everyone says, if she's workin' so hard to stick around and get hitched to you...

Just in case, I'll pray for God to give her DOUBLE strength - first to win this medical battle, and THEN to put up with you, in case you're more of a scoundrel than she figgered on.

Just remember, God and Family (which I believe most definitely would include 'fiance' status) are two of the most potent treatments out there; I can't imagine fighting something like that without them. Glad you can be there for her.

Life's road can be a rocky one, sometimes smooth and straight, other times fraught with ruts and rough spots that threaten to overturn the wagon. When a man signs on for the journey, he can't let doubt or despair push him off the wagon into the rocks, or worse. Especially when he's signed on to make the trip with someone to cherish and to watch over, until the final destination is reached.

Thanks, brothers, for your continuing faith and prayers in Kat's behalf, and for so often including me in your supplications as well. We feel the power of your faith, and it adds to Kat's determination to make it through the badlands, toward the better road that lies ahead.
Regards

Buck

I know she doesn't know me at all but tell Kathe there's an old Dufuss in CA really pulling for her. Prayers up for her and for you too and for her Doctors/Nurses.

The Doc pulled her chemo after last Thursday, to give her strength to fight the MRSA...
Yesterday (Sunday) she was lucid and strong enough to text back & forth. They did some scans this morning, and her Dr gave her three options: more chemo; more surgery & chemo; morphine for the duration (short)...

We are praying to know which route to take. Ultimately, the choice is Kat's, with God's help.

Thanks again to all who have become involved. Thank you for your faith and strength, and for your ongoing prayers. We are forever in your debt.
