OT Prayer Request. Spec. Fleury

Fellow members,
Rec`d a call from my son Spec. Michael Fleury, 12:35 am Sat Morning from Kandahar Hospital, Afghanistan. He was wounded as a result of an IED
while on patrol. He said he had a fractured foot/ankle, and a sore
back. He said an MRI was done, and told it looked ok. However, when i got the call from the Dept. of the Army, the
spokes person said his injuries also included what is called a Spinal
Lumbar.His condition is listed as serious.I had asked him during our
call, and he did say while his back was
sore, he had feelings in his lower
body.I am deeply concerned, and ask
you all to keep him, and all our Troops in your prayers. His Company is scheduled to leave in approx. 6
weeks.

He will be sent to Germany sometime
Sunday, Afghan time according to the
Army.He is out of that place and currently at a base in the area but i
cannot remember the name.After his
care in Germany, he will be sent to
Walter Reed. Again, i ask for your prayers for his speedy recovery.

Mike said it was lucky the vehicle they were in was the "buffalo", and not a Humvee.As i had always told him in our emails, the Lord will ride with you, and not only did he, he made sure it was the right vehicle.

Prayers have been sent for your great son!(look also he even doesnt want to worry his dad)
That is one tough fellow right there.
Men like him is what still gives hope for this countries future.
God Bless him, and you should be proud of that fine man,and thanks for all he has done and will do!

On the way. Keep us posted. But I'm not surprised about the variations in the two reports. Your son probably soesn't want you to worry.
