OT: new to me rifle

Post by txpete »

as y'all know I have a thing for the finn rifles.I have been chasing them since 1991 :D .
I found a 1970  M-39 finn (sako) this week in a hole in the wall gun shop here in tx and it just had to come home with me.these are rare and were made for officers marksmanship training for the finn army.the serial number is 2 higher than the last reported one made :D :D .

I love the finn rifles! Accurate, chambered in a potent caliber, and if they jam you can always beat your enemy to death with your 10 pound firearm...

I love my 39. One of the most accurate shooting military rifles I've ever had.
