Please BTT this for a few days.

On Wednesday evening, October 14, 2009, the Leverguns Community forum will go down for maintenance. We're giving everyone plenty of time to get their minds set and lay in a supply of whatever it takes to keep down the shakes.

We're not sure how long it will be down but it shouldn't take long. However, there's always the possibility of unexpected problems cropping up. Mr. Murphy and all that, you know. So we're giving y'all a full week's notice that the long awaited software update is on its way.

Stay posted for further bulletins and please BTT this 'til Wednesday, October 14.

Gratuitous BTT and fingers crossed...I'm really hoping this will fix Wind's and AJMD429's log off problems.

And as far as your time estimates, remember this coming from a Project Manager and and I.T. guy. "In any project, you will get 90% of the work quickly done in the first 10% of the project. In the remaining 90% of the time allocated, you'll get the rest of the 90% of the work done."

Well, I've finally caught up on the backlog of new accounts - to the best of my ability. If anyone sees this and their account has NOT been OK'd, drop me a note at

and preferably include a copy of the original "Your account is in the process of confirmation" e-mail. Some folks use usernames that don't immediately stand out as "Yep. that's a real human" so it's easy to fall through the cracks. I don't examine each and every one, just take a look at 'em and if they look OK then I might take a gander to see if the username/email kind of match up or not. If they don't then I wait for an e-mail.

ANYWAY - what I started to say is, hopefully we'll still have everyone together here in another 36 hours, breathing a sigh of relief and getting over the shakes.
