Wish I'd bought a copy...

I would seriously question the veracity of that auction. That book is no way worth that kind of money to me.

I think it was $48.00 new. After thinking about it, it was a B-day present from my Father. I have the set of 3 books from Mr. Clawson. One of my pistols is on the back cover of the second book. I had a pair of the Argentine Model 27s W/ the A prefix. Turns out that they were property of Juan Peron's personal Police force. I still have the better of the two..
Good old Chuck wouldn't tell me why he wanted one so bad until after the book was out!

I wish I would have bought the "big book" years ago for $89, I've seen them go for a grand.
