More fishin from Ji

Post by Tycer »

Aloha Levergunners,
Just wanted to say aloha and share some pictures from a fishing tournament my son and I entered, paddle power only so I rowed, and my son paddled his kayak. My son did not get a bite but I was in first place until last 1/2 hour of tournament with my 31.9 pound Kagami Ulua aka African Pompano. Winning fish beat me by 2 pounds. It was allot of fun, and the first time back on the ocean in almost a year. Just wanted to share some pictures. I hope all is well with all my friends and brothers.

Aloha a hui hou, Ji

It's good to hear from you again and see that you are still fishing. I don't know what that fish is, but we have Jack Cravelle around here that look like that and they will put a whippin' on you. That one must have pulled your boat for a few miles before you landed it. I always love your pictures and stories.

+1!

BTW, Poochie the Bear was found 2 days ago Ji. Can't believe it as I had torn that area apart looking for it many times, but my wife finally found him, 2 years later. Still sad about it, but Poochie will go back home, finally.

Way to go, Ji. Wonderful pics, obviously great competition, super catch and time spent with your son! What could be better? Look forward to more info from you.
