Terry's Article

Post by rjohns94 »

Every now and then, I like to pick and choose an article from the home page here and read it during a break from work. Read Mr Murbach's article today and I really enjoyed it!!! if you are new to the forum or haven't taken advantage of the fine writing offered in the articles section, I would encourage you to do so. here is a link to Terry's article:

Excellent thoughts and ideas..... I remember Terry's musings from many moons ago and he just keeps getting better.

Also proves he knows where the shift key is

Great article...thanks to Terry for writing and rjohns for posting.

I also have and enjoy a '94 in 356, a Browning 45-70 carbine, and of course 30-30's.

I have been thinking about a .357 lever gun, but could not decide why. Now I guess I have been "pushed". :D

Perhaps the finest lever gun of all time is the Savage 99. I have two in the Classic 99 calibers, 300 Savage and 250-3000 Savage. The 300 delivers 308 Win power and the 250-3000 easily equals 243 Win power shooting 87 or 90 gr bullets at 3250 fps and 100 gr bullets at 3050 fps. Arthur Savage was a genius; Bill Ruger Sr. says the three American gun designers are Colt, Browning, and Savage.
