Navey Arms 1873 lever Custard edition What to ask for it?
I selling it for a friend in Sedona Az. Can`t find another to get an idea on what to ask for it? has a brass frame and is a Custard limited edition but it dos`t say what it shoots? I think it`s a 44/40 but not sure, very few rounds thru it he has had it for quite some time now but like the rest of us things are getting slow for him and bills are starting to stack up. will post a pic later.

45704me,
First I think that's an 1866 replica rather than an 1873. At least with that picture I don't see a dust cover and the receiver just don't look right to be a 73.
And I think you mean Custer as in George Armstrong Custer, not Custard.
As to the value, I don't know.
Hopefully somebody else will come along that can help.
Joe

+1 A few "limited editions" like this one are kicking about. Buddy of mine has a Sitting Bull version. Most have the Indian tack work. Prices usually run about like the standard Uberti 1866. Used about $500 - $700 range DOC.J Miller wrote:45704me,

Now if you can convince someone you picked up old George's carbine on the battlefield, well .....it could bring more!

Hmmm, might that be better? Nope. Might wanna try out that "macro" focus feature. Ahhh, "CUSTER EDITION", maybe some additional details, like who commissioned them, etc... yep looks sorta like a '66.45704me wrote:

Custard Edition? Mmmmm... I like Custard - especially in doughnuts.
