I would, maybe.

I know feral dogs aren't the equal of coyotes, but some are bigger than coyotes, and the 'survivors' pretty mean (I've seen them take down livestock), but I put away LOTS of feral dogs as a kid with a single shot .22 at ranges from 50 to 100 yards. Maybe 1 out of 50 times I'd need a second shot, but I took my time and didn't take 'iffy' shots.

Still, I'd rather use a .32-20 or .357 at those 'woods' ranges nowdays. Something pointy if it was way out there...

Good job. I've taken a number of coy dogs with a 22LR. I prefer something a little bitter, but a 22LR will work if that's what I have at the time.

Nicely done. I've busted a few yotes with a 22mag just never seen one when I was carrying a 22lr.

I wondered why you would name a coyote Henry, too.

Oh no, I can see it coming...

"Marlin Buck" "Mossberg Turkey" and so on - but it could get confusing - "Puma Puma...?"
