Was a spur of the moment and poorly planned trip but got in a good day shooting.
First forgot to have the propane tanks filled

of heat before it pooped out on a 15 degree night. Was up all night keeping the fire going.
My camping buddy was not pleased!

Even sporting her winter attire I don't think she stopped shivering the entire time.
All we had for heat was firewood and cooked on the grill. Cold but we survived.
It warmed up enough Sat. to get in some shooting though.
Started out with my .577 Enfield. This thing is a blast!

I spotted these Johnny Rebs commin' down the hillside.

Four shots of 75 grs. FFG and .570 Patched RB
in just under three minutes pretty much "done 'em in"

Then got out the '92s.
My 32-20 SRC that turned 100 yrs. old this year and my NKJ .357 Rossi.
Been playing with loads for the .357 and was pleased with
my experimental batches. Will get them on the bench to see what they're
really doing.
The .32-20 likes 5 gr. Bullseye and 118 Gr LFP.

Next up was the CZ-452 .22 Mag. This thing is so accurate it's
Frightening and a blast to shoot. Fortunately it preferrs the cheaper
Winchester Dynapoint ammo.

Last up was My SOCOM16. This thing is a shooting machine.
With what .308s cost these days I have to be careful with this one.
Just too much fun!

Didn't save any targets. Those IDPA cardboard targets went right in the fire!
Nice to get out of town.
