bought this one as a parts gun. cut down barrel lots of mismatch but took her out shooting and changed my mind
now it's one of my favorites. oh well, guess i'm still looking for parts.
Caliber? Year of mfg???? Neat old one. About 2 years ago I passed on a 1912 mfg 1894 in 30 WCF because it was cut down and somewhat beat. They only wanted 175 though. Changed my mind, drove back to the gunshow and it was GONE!

dob, is a little difficult to say the receiver is 1898, barrel 1920's cut to 22', mag tube newish w/flat plug, the stocks seem old
with someone's home checkering but who knows.
the front sight dovetail was cut crooked, and the rear is the marbles w outside elevator.
she's just a frankenstein, but i've grown to like her.
a little heavier than a standard carbine but that oct. barrel sure hangs nice offhand.
