Anyone have any input on this...I mean....if this is the real deal it seems that the starting bid is more than reasonable...yet no bids at all???

Re: Is this for Real?
Because Gunbroker is absolutely the most INapropriate place to sell that gun.
It should be being handled by one of the Gun Auction Houses like Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) or JD Devine...

Re: Is this for Real?
I'll tell you what it is. (and what it is not
)
#1.) While it may say "Winchester", it was not made by them.
#2.) Its so rare, no one knows anything about them so caution is prioritized. How does one compare the price with similar items for sale?
While neat and rare, it just does not "stir the soul" like an 1886 or a first gen SA Colt does. Like OI says, "it needs to go to a quality auction house"-------------------Sixgun

Re: Is this for Real?
I agree with the change in auction. A lot of what goes on in the GB arena is below the $2K mark, from what I can tell. It would do better when shown to the appropriate audience.
Re: Is this for Real?
It didn't hurt anybody to let us have look at it on GB. (Good for us).
He didn't lose the gun in an undersold auction (Good for him).
He can still list it in an appropriate sale venue (Still good).
IT'S ALL GOOD!
