Picked up the Marlin 1894CL that I bought from loophole today. It's not perfect, but overall it's in pretty nice shape, and just as he described it. I've got a Leupold 2-7x32 or a Leupold 1-4x20. Can't decide which one to put on it. In reality, it's probably a 150 yard rifle, so the 4x would be plenty. Now if I can just round up some 218 Bee brass.

Midway has lots of Bee brass. With tuning 1" groups at 100 yards are possible and it will drop crows to 200.

I got some loaded Bee at that Reeds for just about that price for brass. 10 boxes shipped for about 135.

I had decided to just go ahead and get some ammo from Reed's, but they are out too! Said they have had more orders than what brass was available.

Its a piece of junk, send it to me and I'll make sure nobody hurts themself with it.

Enjoy it man, the 218 Marlin truly is a treasure, and if it was me I"d go with the 2-7x so I could see the rabbits heads better at 200yds.

Actually I had forgot about a Bass Pro gift card that I had from Christmas. So I stopped by there tonight after work and bought a new Nikon 2-7x32 for it. That way I won't have to rob a scope from another rifle.
