Looking at the muzzle of that gun, I'm wandering if that is some kind of new choke. Looks like it is suppose to split the slug in half, causing 2 separate wound channels.

An old acquaintance of mine had a 10 gauge like that one one time. He thought the large heavy weight in the butt-stock made the gun too heavy. So he took the weight out and added a low-power scope on the shotgun to make it into a slug gun. I tried to tell him that the weight was good, but he was determined. After he removed the weight, the danged shotgun didn't weigh much more than 6 pounds.

One afternoon I walked into his shop and he had a lump on his head bigger than an egg and a pretty good cut to go with it. I started laughing.

"You shot that scoped 10 gauge didn't you?" I asked when the laughter subsided.

Richard admitted that was the cause of the cut and lump. He told me that he'd managed to fire three rounds of 10 gauge slugs through the gun, getting hit in the head by the scope on every shot. Since the three slugs group "about the size of a lemon" at 75 yards, Richard declared himself happy with the sighting.

A couple of weeks later I walked in and right off the bat, Richard told me that he'd sold the H&R 10 gauge. I asked if he'd replaced the weight. He grinned and said, "Nope," as he held up the weight.

WOW, what a big MAW! Likewise, "leverguns = boring"... NOT A CHANCE!

Why I can go from rifle to carbine to trapper and back to rifle again, all with the same model and caliber, switch up calibers, models and sight combinations... why I could go on all day. Can't come near close except with interchangeable barrels on a shotgun or maybe a Contender!

Do you expect people to gush and ooh and awh over every rifle you post a picture of? Sometimes, a new thread will get many replies and othertimes, a new thread will only get a few replies. If ya post a picture of a common rifle, a thread might not generate much interest but if ya post a picture of an un-common or rare rifle, then a lot of interest will be generated. Just keep posting yer pictures. I haven't heard anyone complaining about them.

After you been eatin' steak fer a long time, BEANS taste just fine... or not.

I will pay that contraption one minor compliment: I've seen uglier guns, but not by much...

You missed my point ,to take out+picture a gun and resize it to fit this format seen for not when 9 people look at the site.Im not talking about the post people may make.Im saying the # of hits on not the replays.
I enjoy the replays or hoop+hallows as you call then. But im talking the total of people who click just to see what it is or looks like.
I want people to reply but thats not at all the part im talking about, at all.

Hell, just keep posting your pics. Like I said, the most unusual guns will get the most hits. Maybe just post pics of your most unusual guns and leave out the most common.

If someone around here said levergun photos were boring, they must either have had a fever at the time or be a troll. If the latter - off with their head!
