That's terrific!!! We sure could use one right now.Thanks for the link. I also enjoyed the one on logging.Those were the days of "Iron Men with Wooden Ships" that My Grandfather told Me about.

Now that is something. But just imagine if they made it today. Some fool would be himself chucked off and eng up getting run over. The after the law suits, it would be redisigned to be "safe". The resulting redesign would create a vehicle that can't move in any direction at any time under any circumstances.

That looks like a more durable concept than the 'upside-down treadmill' we call a snowmobile. Of course the proof would be in trials with real farm, ranch, and wilderness users. I presume a fast speed and one-sided lockup or obstacle would cause a quick flip, but not sure it would be worse than a snowmobile.

We don't get enough snow where I live for anything to be much use, other than maybe tire chains for the tractor. I don't even bother to find my snowshoes very often.
