Re: OT -- Double Barrel Bolt Action Rifle
OK, that's it. Now a double barrel lever action rifle will have to be designed and built. Two barrels, two tubular magazines, two loading gates!
Have you hugged your rifle today?

Re: OT -- Double Barrel Bolt Action Rifle
Was that designed by the same guy who built some double-barreled, three-barreled and four-barreled bolt-actions back in the late 1960's or early 1970's? I remember seeing an article with photos back in the late 1970's in an old mgazine. He had built some four-barreled rifles in .375 H&H and 458 Winchester as well as a double-barreled .30-'06 and a few other oddball bolt-actions.

That is something that I would give up a lot of other guns to own!

Here's a link to a thread from 2006 on the Gunbroker forum that discusses the Fuchs rifle. On the second page there is a scanned spec sheet. Weight is about 11.5 pounds with the titanium-steel option and 13 pounds with all steel.

Re: OT -- Double Barrel Bolt Action Rifle
I admire the turn-bolt as one of the finest repeaters, and I'd really like to own a fine top-break double, but I have no interest in a double barrel bolt action.
