Had a Sportsman's Warehouse Gift card

Post by Lefty Dude »

I was given a $25.00 gift card to Sportsman Warehouse several Months ago.
I wanted to use it partially for a 4# of Unique powder . No Alliant Powders in the store or in Town.
The store was picked over and so far no re-stock of most Ammo or reloading components.
I did find an item of interest on the bullet shelf. A 250 count of Nosler 240 gr.JHP, sized .429"
I no longer have my gift card and now have a supply of 44 bullets to go with the 3# of WW296 I bought at a Garage sale four Months ago for $12.00.

My Rossi 92 44 mag. carbine now will be quite fed & content for awhile.

ABTW, my quest for Unique Powder has been successful today, also. I bought the last two one pounders at "Dillons" reloading store in Scottsdale for $18.00 each.

It seems like Sportsmans Warehouse here has been out of everything for reloading for a long time and aren't getting any more stuff in. I asked the manager about it and he said that they are limited to 50 lbs of powder per truck. And they don't get a truck every day, but a couple times a week. So to me, that means they're not ever going to be able to stock back up. Can anybody else confirm this.

Howdy,
My local Sp WH has also been out of all the stuff I need for about 2 months. The manager said somebody sits in an ivory tower somewhere and decides what each store needs.
I told him that I really like to buy local, but I'll just order online if they don't stock up. He said he understands but there isn't much he can do..

Pathetic......
