Local shop had a neat little .22 Mag Taurus pump at a pretty good price and in great shape.
I haven't heard if they work/ shoot well or not.
I've become a big fan of the .22 Magnum lately and could pick this one up
for cheap.
Any info and or experience would be greatly appreciated.

If the price is right, grab it!

I've had a couple of them, in 22 LR. Both were good shooters, no problems.

I've been looking at them myself. The only thing that made me balk was a $595 suggested retail price.

22cals are sweet. The 17 calibers are the one's Taurus had problems with. The 17's need the tighter headspace and stronger camming afforded by a bolt. You should be posting pics of your new 22 Mag

They are great, had both 22lr and 22mag, had site proble,s with the mag , got rid of it kept the lr, shoot it more than the winnie 62's, just dont want to put any wear on the winnies, Try to get the older ones without the Ralph Nader safty thing on top...
